NOTE: Onlythe Lamb, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, is found worthy in heaven and earth to open the booklet and break its 7 seals! He is the second Adam. When the first Adam failed and passed on to us, the human race, the evil heritage he received from the serpent - the second Adam was tempted in allpoints like as all of us experience - but in allthese - sinned not! His blood is righteous blood. It came not from the first Adam like us, but from God! Godwas His Father after the flesh. No wonderHe is so worthy! No wonder this stopped John's crying! No wonder Oswald Chambers exhorts us all to have personal, passionatedevotion to our Lord Jesus, who isthe worthy Lamb.

It is interesting to note, that of the 7 component parts of God's Organic Automated Laser-Telescope, thisis the 7thpart! The Church of Ephesus lostthis first love. Weneed to guard it above all costs, and retain it daily and constantly. Alan Redpath of the Moody Memorial Church of Chicago during the '50's said, “The most difficult task I have to maintain is a daily, vitaldevotional relationship with the Lord Jesus!” To regularly meditate on His great Redemptive Act on our behalf, helps us much to maintain this task.

5:6-14 - This sub-paragraph - set forth by Bible Numerics, is so important. It is composed of 8 sentences, likewise established by Bible Numerics. Starting in 1945, I began to summarize each sentence, sub-division and paragraph of the book of Ephesians. The result nearly put me into orbit. By 1967 I had typed up the entire English Numeric NT as translated by Ivan Panin, and written out in phrases and clauses the corresponding Greek Numeric NT. It is the result of this, that appears above these notes. The format for this did not come clear until 2007. Pray for strength on my behalf, that I will be able to complete typing up the entire Interlinear Greek Bible Numeric NT before God calls me home. It is my number one assignment from heaven. The spin-offs that come to me from each mailing, continue to bless and amaze me. I trust many of you are able to join me in this blessing.

Jesus as the Lamb of God is in the midst of the Throne of God in heaven, with the four living beings and the 24 elders! Notice in symbolism his 7 horns and 7 eyes that represent the seven Spirits of God. Later we find a parallel symbolism of the 7 Spirits represented by 7 lamps before the Throne of God. And in the OT Tabernacle in the Wilderness and Temple of Solomon, the 7 Spirits are represented by the 7-fold Menorah or Lampstand.

In 5:12 a vast multitude of angels, along with the 4 Living beings and the 24 Elders, again and again saying with a great voice, “ Worthy is the Lamb” - and ascribe to Him a 7-fold blessing. Now we can return to the challenge of Oswald Chambers and give “personal, passionatedevotion” to our Lord Jesus. J.A.W.
